The basic plan is to construct a 72-foot cruiser sailboat with an aluminum hull. The vessel will have comfortable accommodations for up to 10 to 12 people.
Greg worked from the plans of a Bruce Roberts designed boat. He researched many books and online materials. As an auto body specialist, Greg has worked with metals, welding, machining, forming and cutting. The boat will contain not only aluminum but a variety of other materials such as exotic wood, cherry, and local walnut.
